This graphene-enhanced face mask is a patent-pending design that employs a unique coating
containing a combination of graphene and other carbon nanomaterials. This coating leverages both the antistatic and known antimicrobial characteristics of graphene to create a
cotton fabric face mask with the following properties:
• CE Mark: The mask is compliant with EU MDD Directive
93/42/EEC and the EN 14683:2019+AC:2019 Type I
Harmonized Standard;
• Antibacterial: The graphene coating has been certified
by the Thailand Textile Institute and by the Korean
Apparel Testing & Research Institute to reduce
staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 6538), Escherichia coli
(ATCC 25922), and klebsiella pneumoniae (ATCC 4352)
bacteria by >99.5% within a 24-hour period per AATCC
TM 100 (2012) and KS K 0693:2016 testing standards;
• Antistatic: The graphene coating has been tested by the
Thailand Textile Institute for electrostatic properties
against the BS EN 1149-1:2006 standard. The conductive
surface repels dust and is effective against PM2.5
particulate matter with Particle Filtration Efficiency of
72% for 0.1μ particles as tested by RUEE;
• Washable: The mask is washable and reusable at least
100 times without fading or losing its antibacterial or
antistatic properties;
• Comfort: The graphene coating spreads heat evenly
across the mask and also includes a water-repellent
inner coating for additional comfort.
